Build it 12 inches deep—or stack two frames for an ergonomic 30-inch height—and you’ll support root crops, improve drainage, and sidestep most in-ground soil problems. Location and Size: The Two Non-Negotiables
Set the bed where it will get six to eight hours of direct sunlight every day, and site it within reach of a garden hose or irrigation line. Vegetables simply won’t produce without that light dose.
